Objectives
By the end of this week students will have:
- finished the work not completed in week 2
- corrected errors in their written work
- read and analyzed several displayed ads in online magazines in their field
- created a displayed ad and post it to their wiki page
- recorded an ad and post it to their wiki page
- commented on a classmate´s page in the wiki

1. Listen to our guest with what you will be doing today

Thursday
Online magazines or /e-zines/ need to have advertisements
1. Discuss in class: "What is a display ad?", "What are its characteristics?
Look up the 2 words in the dictionary:
- Ad = Advertisement
- Display = Check out the word in the dictionary
3. If you want more information on the characteristics of display ads, check this site
Your task:
4. Create a display ad announcing an architectural / urban design product. You can use Paint, Groupboard or Gliffy - I am sure you will love "Gliffy, and "Groupboard" try them out!
5. Post it to your wiki page
| Note: With Groupboard, you need to take a screenshot of your drawing, paste it to Paint, and save it as JPEG or GIF, to be able to upload it to the wiki. When you use Gliffy, it generates links which can be posted to the wiki directly - click on publish to get these links. |
6. Write a comment on a classmate´s wiki page about his/her ad
